Doing some digital housework, backing up old git repositories, removing long dead sites/domains etc. It's a little sad to see old projects being archived, but I learned long ago about how ephemeral these things can be.
I can’t remember the last time I used a system with a spinning hard drive. I should really put a drill bit through these old drives. Job for the weekend I think.
Searching old storage drives for some software that I think I wrote about 20 years ago. I'm sure the code is junk, but I'm interested to take a look at it as it might come in handy for a project I'm working on. Anyway, I really should organise my backups better.

That feeling when you've been concentrating intensely on solving a problem, you solve the problem and then look up from your monitors to wonder where you are even located in meatspace.
For some reason, I had it in my head that most systems allowed hyphens in hashtags. Apparently this is not the case. I should really look these things up before making assumptions in code.

Reading and watching all the news about the new Qualcomm Oryon chips and I'm excited for the future. What I would really like to see is a Linux compatible laptop with:
1. The build quality/look of a ThinkPad.
2. The performance and battery life of MacBook Pro M1/2/3.
3. The fanlessness (definitely not a word) of the MacBook Air.
Not asking for much really.

What? How long have I been using this system? Why is zip not installed?
