I don't game much these days, but tonight I connected a Xbox controller to my Fedora gaming box for the first time and played some Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr (that's a mouthful) on Steam. Everything just worked and the game plays much better with a controller than with keyboard and mouse. I'm now tempted to move that machine into the living room and connect it to our TV for some big screen gaming.

Playing some Counter-Strike: Source like it's 2004.
An old friend recently gifted me a copy of No Man's Sky. The game was on my Steam wishlist and my friend surprised me out of nowhere with the unexpected gift. I've never played the game, but it looks ace! I've got a couple of spare hours tonight so I think I'll give it a try. Pew! Pew!
Just purchased Black Mesa on Steam, it's currently got 80% off and is selling for £2.99. Looking forward to reliving the Half-Life experience.
This is the second time I have had COVID. I seem to recall that I slept my way through it the first time around, so this insomnia business is new to me. I should probably make use of this bonus time I find myself with, but I think I'll probably waste it playing some Starfield.
The Steam winter sale has started. How many games will I buy and not play this year? The only game I'm actually interested in is Starfield - I watched Becky play it on the Xbox and it looks like fun! Also, I'm a big fan of the Bethesda games and have logged many hours with Skyrim and Fallout, so I think I'll enjoy it a lot.
The Steam Autumn sale is on and I’m definitely not going to buy any games that’ll sit in my Steam library and never get played.

Linux Distros Evolution over time - July 2024 Snapshot
Fedora… I’d wager it’s still on its way up. It’s the kind of distro I keep hearing about, and people who rally behind it are solid believers.
